Wheel Turning Question.

I really don't know where to ask this.. there isn't really a "General" questions board... And i'm sorry this is in a way, about a second generation car, but i don't know of any Second gen sites out there..

so i guess this will work under "Technical"

Alright. Say you jackup the back of a car.
You spin one rear wheel. Normally, the other won't spin.

On a positraction car, Both wheels win spin the direction the one is moving.

I have a 1970 camaro SS.. If you spin one wheel, the other wheel spins the OPPOSITE direction.
Is this good/bad?

At first guess it would seem to be for better handling. Maybe it's a mistake, though?
Doesn't seem to affect driving, at all.

While i'm at it, i'll just kill two birds with one stone. Anybody know a website that has some clean looking camaro (SS,RS,Z28,IROC)/ GM / Chevrolet logos? possibly like vector-graphics.. something clean looking?

Thanks.

ya if im correct then two outputs should turn on a non posi

either both tires ( oppisite directions) or one tire and the input shaft (drive line) and since the driveline is connected to the tranny it cant turn very easily causing the tires to turn

Look at the mechanics/theory of a differential (at least a picture)

without any of the fancy posi stuff or locking stuff and you'll understand how it works.... buddy and I were discussing this and we found a website that shows how they work. Maybe it'll explain it.
