valve clearance

I want to know if when I put flat top pistons without valve reliefs in my 84 lg4, if I will have problems with the valves clearing the tops of the pistons? this is with a mild cam

.398/.442

194/214 @.050 edelbrock cam

and no crap about go get a 350 because I don't want one and never will! I don't care if it costs more to rebuild my motor. I like it.

You will have no problems. That's smaller than some stock cams. IMHO it's not even worth spending money and effort to put that cam in.
