Those who have went TBI to carb i need help.

Ok Im getting about 7psi of pressure (after the mallory FPR) only when i first prime the key then the pressure stops. I dont think my fuel pump is staying on. I reconnected 3 grounds that were on the back of the heads.

What do i need to do to keep the fuel pump on while the key is on? bypass the relay? if so how do i do this.,

i wouldn't even f@ck with messing with relays and crap. i'd rout the power wire right to an ignition hot and put a fuse in line with it so the pump comes on when you turn the key on.

Simple fix!! I had the same problem. Find the relay for the fuel pump. Turn the key forward and pop the relay off. Get a tester wire. Just keep touching the metal parts on the relay together two at a time until the fuel pump turns on ( I forget what (2) colored wires to put together). When it turns on just splice those two wires an butt connect, solder or put together by any other means. Your done, a little mickey mouse but nobody will know and it will work fine.Good luck
