Hey everyone, had a few questions for you I have been looking for a new toy car and after the accident with my truck, I have been looking for a nice 9c1, but for now I came across a 1989 pontiac transam GTA.. 5.7l v8 and 4 spd auto with od.. car has about 120,000 miles... what info can you give me on a car like this.. I dont know anything about these except they were a special edition.. any help would be welcome thank you.

 

What shape is the car in? any rust? The 5.7 TPI motors are capable of mid 14s stock. but check the VIN to make sure it's a 5.7, as a lot of times, people lie, the 8th digit should be an 8.

it sounds like a keeper, only if its in good condition. Depending on how it was treated the mileage is okay. if it was abused then 120k will kill ya. other then that i've seen these cars with over 200k and still tickin, only if its treated properly.
