fuel line return?

fuel line return?

hi,
i have a external fuel cell,with a external fuel pump,but what do i do with my return line?my fuel cell doesnt have a place for it,it has to fuel line feeds,and 1 vent line,thanks

is it needed,or could i just block it off?

PP,

If you're using a 3-line electric pump, you definitely need the return line or risk damaging the pump in a short time. You may be able to rig a return fitting to the vent line, but should still have a vent with a surge valve when you are finished.

hi,
my fuel pump is the nos one in the summit catalog,pretty sure its just in and out,so i could get some kind of "y" fitting on my vent line??thanks for your help.

Am I reading that correctly? A stock pump? If you needed to install a regulator to control fuel pressure, you probably needthe return line.
