Iroc stuttering between 1200rpm and 1800rpm

I have a real bad hesitation between 1200 and 1800 rpms. Once above the 1800 it starts to clear and at 2000= it seems to accelerate fine. What could be causing this type of stuttering? Plug wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor cap , ignition coil, are all fairly new. Somewhere between 7000-10000 miles. All are heavy duty Accel and the like. Plugs are platinum Bosch. last 2 sets of plugs made it 30000 + miles and looked fine when Itook them out.
Just had it in the shop a few weeks after the hesitation started because it would turn over bu t wouldn't fire. Found that the terminals on the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump were corroded. They cleaned them and it started again but when I drove it this morning it still had the bad hesitation.
Any ideas?

Did you/they test fuel pressure? It might be revealing.

Shop says that the fuel pump is not getting any juice. Injectors pulse and it gets spark. in the past 9 days I have driven it 2 days and had it towed twice. This evening I went and started paperwork on a 98 grand prix to use as my daily driver. Can't afford to miss any more work or pay for any more rentals. Going to put it in the garage and port the plenum and make some mods as time and moeny permits and maybe I will finally have it to the power I have always wanted.
After 7 years as my daily driver it is going to be tough to adjust.

Now I just have to hope that the grand prix doesn't crap out on me anytime soon. *knock on wood*

Fuel pump fixed the no start and the stuttering. Off to another topic. Gonna attempt to replace the injectors and such over the winter months.
