i have an 87 v6 2.8L r/s. for some reason somtimes when im drivin im hittin tha gas...get no response, but tha motor runs for about 5 more mins. then it just dies. 10-15 mins later, it starts back up. for 2 weeks ive used regular 87 octane gas.. im now using 93 octane again..i put in new fuel filter, and bled tha fuel lines, and put in a fuel system cleaner, then the new gas. but the problem hasnt gone totally away....any suggestions?

 

besides the basic make sure you have agood tune up and scan for codes i'd check for vacuum leaks and check fuel preasure.
