Gauge size on a cowl?

Anybody done this? I have 2 1/16" gauges but I fear that they will be too small to put on the cowl. I dont have the car yet but I want to finish my gauge buying before I get it. Will 2 1/16" be enough? Any pics?

On what cowl? A cowl below the windshield? There is none on a third gen. The hood comes right up to the windshield.

I have a 2 1/16" fuel pressure gauge mounted under the rear of my scoop. I can see it from inside the car fine.

If it's for the truck then don't forget you'll need gauge pods for all the gauges to mount them outside the vehicle.

Just wondering If a 2 1/16" gauge can be seen threw the window under a 5" cowl on a 77' Camaro

Thanks

There's a picture of my engine and my interior on my web site. The engine picture you can see my fuel gauge. The interior picture you can't see the gauge but you can see the opening at the rear of my scoop where the gauge sits. It wouldn't be much different than the back of a cowl induction.

I'm using a 3-3/8" Fuel Pressure gauge on the cowl of my 70 Nova. You can almost read the pressure from behind the car, through the windows.
If you gotta see it, the 3-3/8" dia gauges are great.
Might fit under a 5" cowl hood, but you'd have to get the dims from Autometer and measure how much room you've got.
