I'm putting together my L98 now, and I'm looking for a set of main cap bolts. Are the journals on an 87 350 crank large or small diameter?

They haven't made a small journal crank since 1968. The journals are the part that the rods attach to. Some people call them the throws.

You said "main cap bolts". That's the bed that the crank sits in. All the mains in a SBC are the same size except for a 400 block.

Well when I was on the Jegs website looking for a set, there was a different part number for small and large journals. I meant to type in Rod up top but I had main caps on the mind. . Thanx for the help.
