How I can determine what part I have?...I have the GM part number.

I have had a rear spoiler sitting in my basement for a long time and I would like to find out what it is for. I picked it up when I bought some stuff from a GM dealer. I believe it is for a Firebird/TA, but I'm not sure. I've taken the part number to the dealer and all they can tell me is that the part does not show up in their system. I've also tried www.gmpartsdirect.com. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

I'd PM twistopher here on the boards, I believe he might be of some help. Haven't seen him post in awhile though.
