Will this cam work??

Will this cam work fine in my LO3 (305 TBI)???

Wolverine Blue Racer Camshafts BRAND NEW
Dur. @ .050" 194/203
Adv. Dur. 256/262
Lift .390" Int / .410" Exh
112 CL

Is this cam better for my LO3 than the LT1??

The only reasons I'm asking is because:
1. I don't know much about cams
2. Someone is offering me one heck of a deal on this

it will work, but that cam is really weak (however, not as weak stock i dont think...stock is very weak)...dont bother with the effort to put it in. find something with substantially more lift and duration if you are going to go to the effort and expense of a cam install.

That's the old "929" cam... part of the package, along with the 882 heads, that was responsible for such awesome wonders as 170 HP 350s and 180 HP 400s....

I would literally pay someone not to give me one of those.

Thats the stock flat tappet hyd cam in just about every 350 in the junk yard.
Doesn't your 1991 motor have roller lifters?
If so the cam to wake up your 305 is the one they yank out of the
Vortec truck motors and the Ramjet 350 and 383 vortec crate motors.
This hyd roller is approx the same size as the "929" cam your looking at, but in a modern roller profile.
You can buy them cheap at www.competitionproducts.com
pn#264hp $49.95us specs are 202/207@.050" 115lsa
.410/.424" lift w/1.5rr

That would be increased to .437"/.452" with 1.6rr
Just right to hop up a 305...
Looks like a real good deal to me.
