enginekits.com, powerhouse question

i think i will need to rebuild the lg4 305 in my 85 trans am but dont want to spend lots on it because i will be swapping it for a 350 next winter. i was wondering how good their its are, and do they make a kit for an 85?? it sais most kits to 84?? i would really like to get the $179 kit but i want to be able to get atleast 100k more miles from my engine, i will probably use it again.
