Max Lift

A quick question. I am thinking of purchasing some S/R Torquer 58cc heads for my 305 and it lists the max lift as .560. Does this mean the max cam lift is .56? or does it indicate the max valve lift after the rocker arm ratio (ie cam lift .35 x 1.5 rocker = .525)?

Max valve lift, if you have a slightly smaller cam yet get 1.6 rockers, then you'll need better springs.

So the max lift is dependant of the quality of your springs?

I wasn't sure if it was that or the head could not physically accomodate more valve lift.
