Heater Core Repair--New Core leaks

Well, I haven't actually even installed it yet, but I know it will. The pipes are LOOOOOOOSE. I barely touched it and it wiggled lose.

I blasted it with the torch and some flux and sauder (sp) like I was repair the pipe into the hot water heater or something and I'll see how it goes.

Anybody have any experience with this, or should I just take it back to the store? I know they might complain that I altered it, but if they give me too much of a hassle I'll just keep it and cancel payment on the check and write a letter to the pres. Man, I feel fiesty today!

Take it back. It's likely that it was already returned if the pipes are loose.

I already got it in, but haven't tested it yet. I figure I'll see what happens, but I'm sure I'll have to take it back.

What a PIA
