Where is my fuel pump located? Was it a mech. type and sitting on the 305ci(you know the one I junked), or is it electric?

So is that gonna be a big deal or can that be bypassed so I put a new one on the car somewhere else? You see what mean? I need a new one I think. Or can I just use the same one? Or can I not because the fuel system on the 305 was a TBI?

the pump is in the tank, need to drop the rear axle, the tank, and i think the exhaust too (could be wrong about that one)
thats why i love my carbed motor, 2 bolts, 3 hoses and the pump falls right off
