Where can I get a deal on a rotating assembly?

I plan to build a 406 sbc and need a deal on my parts. Depending on the deal I can get I can use the stock crank if need be. I do want to use 5.7 or 6.0 rods and forged flat top pistons. I would like the kit to have pistons, rods, bearings and rings.

I have looked in Jegs and Summit but the prices are higher than I want to pay. Anyone know of another place?

I've bought from dirttrack and dynoflo. Both have much better prices than summit or jegs. If your going to use 5.7 rods in a 400, they'll have to be clearenced. I just had to cut .060 off of my new eagle sir rods, and I'm running a small base circle cam. Dirttracks # is 1 866 624 3397 ask for Tony.

What about Performance Automotive Warehouse? I've heard good things about them. I'm thinking of buying one of their unassembled long block kits. Have any of you had a good (or bad) experience with them?
