this is what the vin decoder said.
Made in: United States
Manufacturer: General Motors
Make: Pontiac
Carline Code: F-Body
Carline Series: Firebird
Body Type: 2 door coupe (hatchback)
Restraint System: Manual belts (driver inflatable)
Engine Code: 305 ci V8 L03 (1988-1992)
2 is the CHECK DIGIT
Model Year: 1991
Assembly Plant: Van Nuys
Production Sequence: 204315
Color: dark blue
I went up there again with my father.
The price went to 1095. So we looked it over and the interior was really nice. The rpo codes where in the console. but when my dad start examing the enging and listen to it he heard some stuff that didn't sound to good. When he check an area to find about the idle, the dealer told him not to do that. he thought my father was trying to race it and when my father tried to explain what he was doing, the dealer kept on with the don't do that, that everybody comes up and races the car...
So we closed the hood and left.
Plus there was pinging from the car, and a leak coming from the exhause. And I just replaced my exhause manifold in my car already.
So went went up the road where we looked at a 92 red rs camaro cost a lot more but the dealer it much nicer.
A v6 also. But I have one so that is okay.
the firebird would be perfect for someone that want to switch the engine out though. Not me
the Firebird car is now gone.
