dist gear/cam compatibility
I searched and couldnt find an answer to this. can i use a 1978 HEI distributor and GEAR, and install it directly into a 1991 LB9 longblock with the fact roller cam without worry?

Not according to GM. Get a melonized gear p/n 110456413 to put on your HEI.
