boy, i'd like to see some proof of that. 119 should be way better than mid 12's not to mention a naturally asperated tbi engine isn't likely to have enough airflow to produce 440rwhp. lets see some timeslips or dynocharts to back that one up.

People on message boards are very jumpy with the BS flag now-a-days....all because jerks come on here and lie, which is irritating and discredits those that actually have what they say they have. I'd never lie..I'll tell ya my car's slow as hell right up front!! Hehe...0-60 in 10 seconds even if I'm lucky. It has no problem lighting up my bald drivetire at a stoplight though!

a list of parts on here longer than anyone would bother wanting to read does not mean you have what you are listing.
but did you look at the pictures? its all there. and it turns a 2.1 60' time. thats worse than my 305 TBI. they dont stop spinning.

thanks, and my point was just that TBI isnt inherrantly flawed or BAD, its just how GM used it that makes people say "TBI SUCKS" and "toilet bowl injection"
you know how you can see the fuel hit the throttle blades at idle and sort of jump around? Well I cant. its a fine mist from the moment it comes from the injector and it wets my finger slightly when i put it in the way to make sure its actually spraying fuel.
without the blower, everything is worse though. throttle response was worse, fuel economy, driveability, and the engine even picked up a lope at idle without the blower.
I dont know if thats the fault of the TBI or thats just how the engine is N/A and the blower smoothed it out.

the puddling on them only occurs at idle when they are cold. once the intake warms up it evaporates in the intake anyway, but the puddling wasn't above the blades.

you don't see what I am talking about! just look at on some time. just look I know at idle it is much worse but the con. does not really go away the only time it goes away is wot, I have owned several tbi cars they all do it. and I would never buy another tbi car! it is port or carb for me.
Alright, I'm tired of everyone dissing TBI. I have a L98 swapped into my RS and I am able to beat almost any relatively stock Iroc-Z or Z28. I believe everyone thinks that TBI is such a dog because it comes with an incredibly small cam, crappy heads, and 2.73 rear gears. But when you match the engines, my TBI pulls much better. I've even managed to take down a couple stock LT1's. But this being all said, there is definitely a limit to GM's TBI. The stock system I think is a real bottleneck on my 350. It also only gets around 15 mpg...which is horrible. But it is very reliable, simple, and also able to make power. It is just not the easiest system to accept mods. That being said, I would go carb if it was my choice. Easiest to accept mods, makes the most horsepower, and no prom burning. Also, it's easily the cheapest.
