Which Fluidampr?

I've decided I want to go with fluidampr(I think). This is going on a stock/rebuilt new 350 that will get a D-1SC soon after(~1500-3000 miles). The question is do I get the streetdampr(6 3/4") for $160 or the SFI 6 1/4" race damper for $232?

I would like to get high 11's one day(w/heads) and I'm wondering what damper or balancer to go with? I realize a 6 pt in needed, but the balancer seems to be needed for 10's.

BTW I Do plan to run this to ~6000 rpm often, but not for long periods of tme(1st and 2nd gear mostly and drag racing(once a month)).

Personal preference

If you'll ever do any class racing that may require SFI stamp, then Fluidampr. Only big problem I have with the Street dampr is that it is not finished with a corrosion resistant material. They used to put a zinc wash on them that at least kept them shiney for a bit, then they would form a white oxide/corrosion over the surface making it hard to read. You can always paint or coat them as long as you can still see the marks.

We can get into a big debate on this, but personaly I recommend an elastomer balancer. A great company to look at is Precision Parts from Austrailia. Take a look at this page:
