anyone care to run the motor in my sig?
I am changing the head choice to what is listed in my sig and want to see if the previos/listed numbers still stand or get better.

this is the first time im using the program.im trying to learn how to input everything 100% but my best i have u rated at 565hp 456tq at 6500rpm.i wonder what other ppl have gotten to see if my calculations are off?

 

I dont consider DD2000 to be accurate. Anyway....Here are a few variables I ran into...

Your disp. is 375.7 CI (I originally kept it OEM, and got a disp of 404.8, you had alot more torque, but when I destroked it, the powerband moved to the redline.)

I considered your heads to be "Canted/rectangular Ports, fully ported.

Intake Valve of 2.02" Exhaust of 1.60"

Your CC is 69.96 CC's

750 cfm carb w/tunnel ram

Long tube headers w/mufflers

Your cam settings to adv. specs.

The standard timing is 35*. I reduced it to 6* and picked up alot of power. (It does that with all engines for some reason.)


575hp @7500 (Redline, which is peak anyway.)
465lb-ft @5500.


I think these numbers are high, I would expect anywhere between 500-550hp.
