I need help ASAP!
I had my tranny rebuilt about 4,000 miles ago. I also had a Trans-go shift kit, vette servo and cooler installed at the same time. Well besides the fact that the tranny leaks real bad, now I have another issue. It takes FOREVER to accelerate from a standstill...like 15 seconds for 0-60; and when I'm cruising at 70 mph, I'm sittin' on 3000 RPMs?!?! And lastly, WHEN it does shift, it doesn't shift hard anymore. It's a real sluggish shift.
I wasn't in the car when all this happened (with the exception of the leaks). My buddy had dropped me off at the airport, and said that it started doing it on the way back home.
So, what's going on????? Tranny stuck in 2nd?? (seems logical, however, if I actually put the car in 1st, it will drive) Cable need adjusting?
Help.....need to go to work tomorrow.

Alright.....ignore that last one totally. I just drove it to the tranny shop...at 30 MPH! That's right...I only have 1st. Woohoo! Man I better not have to pay for any of this. Maybe I should get a rental as well.

Well, if the shop cares anything about their reputation, they'll take care of you! I would've been beating their door down over the leaks, also! A recently rebuilt transmission should not leak a drop! If they leak when I get done with one, I fix it before it leaves, even if I have to pull it out. I just don't want the thing to come back dead because it ran low on fluid!
