Question about the intake I just got..

Maybe I should have asked this before I bought it. It's a Weiand Action Plus, and I can't believe how tall it looks..

I reaaallly don't want to lose my stock air cleaner. Will I be able to shut the hood?? It's definatley THE tallest duel plane I've ever seen. Anyone??

It's not much different from stock... about ½" taller, if that. Should fit with no problems.

Thats the same intake I have. I also have a 1" spacer under the carb. I did have to buy a Holley drop base with a 14 x 3 air cleaner, but it fits....tight.
