I think the outer ring of my balancer has slipped, making my timing WAY wrong. Does anybody have a good pic of a balancer so I can see where the mark is in relation to the spokes of the inner hub?

Take a look at the keyway for your reference. You can see it if you pull the damper bolt. The crank key is lined up exactly with the #1 & #2 throw of the crank, and so should be at exactly 1:30 at #1 TDC. Of course the marks should line up at that point.
RB covered it, but I'll elaborate (or confuse the issue even more).
With a stock timing chain cover and stock timing tab, the TDC groove in the outer hub of the balancer is (according to my closest measurement) 7° retarded from the broached keyway in the balancer hub. As RB stated, the Woodruff keyway in the crank is machined at TDC of the #1/2 throw. The location of the OEM timing tab on the cover accounts for the slight retard in the timing groove in the outer hub, since it isn't exactly lined up with the #1 cylinder.

That is exactly what I wanted to see... Now I just have to compare my balancer to that, and I'll know if it's off.
