Anyone familiar with the CompCams 265DEH. What I am trying to figure out is if it will work ok with stock 305 heads. Cauurently the motor has a TBI on it. I am getting ready to change over to a carb. I am planning on using a 600cfm Edelbrock P/N 1406 and Edalbrock Performer Air Gap P/N 2601. Also thinking about adding a 1" spacer between carb and manifold in order to help push the air cleaner up further into cowl hood. Or does anyone have any other suggestions as to a cam that will work with the parts I have. Thanks for your help.

 

I think the GM LT1 cam would work pretty well.
