Been away a while...
More like been away three years and I don't recognize anyone here 
I used to have a '91 Formula Ram-Air that was featured on this board back in '98. Anyways, was at my friends school last weekend with his 89 Formy 350 and had fun trashing a 4.6L Stang. Love trashing Stangs in third gen's
Made me think of you guys again

If you look through the Members page, you'll probably find lots of familiar names. Glenn is still here, Jester shows up now and again, Macgyver gets away from his NEThirdGen.org board now and again and drops in, Tom Keliher still lurks around, Tas, Snuf, Willie, etc. all pop in now and again.
Dan is more or less out of the game. Don't know what's up, but anyway...
Yes, Dirk is still back down behind the server there somewhere. After a couple of horrific crashes a couple of years ago, he got a call from the Center for Mental Health begging him to get the server back up. (Apparently, the "Center" was overwhelmed with witdrawal cases while the boards were down.) He's got the newer board software on a better server, adn it's been a lot more stable. The adverts are a kinda new thing, but we're all used to them and the advertisers themselves participate once in a while and are pretty cool. (They aren't even pushy about their wares.)
He stays out of site most of the time, with his 1.0 wives, 2.1 kids, 3.6 mortgages, 4.2 cars, and 0.0 spare time, etc. The dirty work is now assigned to "Moderators".
The definition of a "Moderator" is an idiot who volunteers to take naughty words off the board and get bad-mouthed by members, all for minimal ($O) compensation. We just thrive on the perks.
The rest is pretty much the same if you look through the "newness". The membership go so large and forums got so busy that there are a lot more dedicated categories, and no "Lounge" board because of the penchant to say naughty things to other members. Macgyver hosts a "Naughty Words" board on his site and invites all ThirdGenners in there to let loose... Poor bastard.
EDIT: Dang it, Ed! It took me 20 minutes to type that betweem other things, and you slipped in a one-liner in nothing flat! Obviously, I talk too freakin' much...
