I was just scrounging through all my mags looking for rebuild kits.The cheapest I found was from northern aito parts.It says you get the cam,lifters,pistons,rings,cam and main bearings,oil pump,freeze plugs,timing set and all the gaskets for 154 bucks.Why is it so cheap?I plan on running cast pistons.I don't have much to spend.I have around 1200 for the whole rebuild including machine work.Can it be doen or is just wishful thinking.I also wanted to get a different cam and some 1.6 ratio stamped rockers.

Also would a 650 holley work good.And has anyone ever used hedman tork step headers?Or should I go with hookers?
