don't necessarily need return line. what does the pump put out? or you can get the mallory 4309 regulator. it has a return line feed on the bottom.

thats perfect mrr23 thanks

quick question tho just to double check... i can just hook up my holley pusher pump to the regulator then the regulator to the carb and thats it right?? i can ditch the mech pump all togehter?(ofcourse fuel filters)

This is my pump

it says it does not require a pressure regulator??! does that mean i don't even need a regulator ??

97 gph. yeah you won't need the maual pump. and don't need the regualtor. pressure on that pump is preset at 7 psi. it runs 67 gph at 5 psi.

sooo in other words, i can run a straight line from the electric pump to the carb?? with just a fuel filter... and it won't flood the engine or break the seals in my carb?? i have the edlebrock 600cfm 4barrel

edelbrock/carter carbs don't like more than 5 psi of pressure. so you can try it first. also, your regulator doesn't need a return line for 2 psi difference.

Vettetrax,
You seem to be fairly knowledgable here, what do you think about a quadrajet under that 7 psi? I think I'm gonna be runnin my new engine with the carb for a while before I can go TPI, but my block doesn't have the hole for the fuel pump pushrod, so, I need an inexpensive way to get fuel to the carb, on a somewhat temporary basis.

Your advice is appreciated!
