It's not one person saying that, if you type in r i c e r (without the spaces) it gets censored. I just find it really really odd.

I see what you're saying. -89IRO

Amsoil and Amsoil oil and air filters.
The combination is the key. I would never use anything else. Synthetic oil to have it's extended service period and to maintain it's superior qualities it needs to stay clean. Just remeber not to use small micron syntectic specific oil filters with convential oil, it won't be able to pass through it properly.

OCS Update

After repairing my crash damage, I did a Mobil 1/Mobil 1 M1-301 oil change. It smoked a lot on start up the first time, but hasn't since. Now though, it's snowing.... AGAIN!! I also adjusted the timing so I can run 87 Octane in my 86 LG4 305 CC. So far so good... Any more takers out there?

If you car came with an oil cooler you would probably want/need to run a 25 but if not, go with the 1218 or 35, both work great just one is a little more protection.
I believe the latest TSB is that the 35 is no longer offered and that all AC Delco applications for the PF35 are to be 1218.

Hard to vote when the best products out there aren't on the voting list.

Several have already said it, but I'll repeat: AMSOIL filters and AMSOIL lubricants.

I've always used Castrol syntec with the AC Delco filter (forget the #). Never had an ounce of problems with these products.
I use on my L98 and my 3.1L V6 (V6 has 200K on it and still runs like a champ, that's gotta be worth something )

I would edit out the lower ones to put amsoil on, but it tells me I need to be an administrator to edit my own poll. I am countng your opinion. Baldwin makes the Amsoil Filters, Amsoil makes the oil.

AC PF35 and Pennzoil 5W-30.

I'll use a Baldwin filter anytime I can find one. I'm running a glass-media one at the moment.

I don't necessarily think Fram filters are bad. They just have the potential to be bad.

Both at the same location in Kearney NE--about 18 miles from my house. They make really good filters, a lot of the technology has come from them creating OTR Truck filters. The exploded view of the Baldwin and Amsoil filters are the same. The testing equipment they use is very cool.
If anyone ever makes it to Kearney, you can go to 'school' at Baldwin University.

About to put in Pennzoil and a FRAM filter....... Probably the worst combo ever, but its better than running sludge.

I'm using 5W30 also. The original owner always used some form of 5W30
