4th gen pistons?

what kind of pistons did they put in 4th gen camaros with the lt1's? i've seen quite a few people running nitrous on an otherwise stock lt1 engine in their 4th gens and i've noticed that people are seeing two second gains in some instances, depending on the shot and when they hit it. Are lt1 pistons forged? I was undert the impression cast and hyperuetectic pistons were too weak to be used on shots that would result in two second gains in et....chris cooley was one guy that had good results, went from 13.134 on a stock engine to 11.34 i believe, only change was to 24 or 30lb injectors

Hyperutechtic 4.00" pistons

and yes..... too much N2O will result in catastrophic failure...

2 second gains just with N2O, with stock pistons..... I doubt they will be round for very long.

Especially if the only mod was a slightly larger injector...

since in order to get that time of ET gain..... you would have to inject 1 hell of a shot of Nitrous.... and without retarding the timing.... damage is imenent...
