L98 heads

are the heads on all L98's aluminum ? if not then how can i tell if these are alum. without unbolting them ?

Hey. No, only the L98s that came in Vettes had AL heads. The easiest way to tell is to see if a magnet will stick to it. If it sticks they are Iron if not they are Aluminum.

aww. well a guy can dream cant he :-) im buying, or looking to buy the engine tomorrow, and just trying to gather some information on it first. I'll try the magnet thing
