Non A/C heater box?

How hard it is to get these, and how much do they usually cost? I've found one on Ebay, and I would eventually like to remove the A/C from the car as I don't feel like repairing the system. How much would you pay for a used one in good condition?

Due to a leak the canister is now empty. Absolutely no pressure in there at all. Its been that way since I bought the car. Since i don't feel like converting it, and I have those lovely T-Tops I figure I can save some weight and clean up the engine bay a bit.

I've read just about every thread that I can find with the search string "heater box." Some of my questions were answered but others were not. I don't want to pay through the nose for this box. And I don't have to buy the box right now. But I will eventually change over so if I can get ahold of the parts right now then I will change it over in the mean time while I wait for March to roll around so I can bring the GTA out.

heres the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...876324924&rd=1

I believe $50-75 is the going rate for these heater boxes.

I read that one MD. Was looking for average prices so I don't overpay for it. I'm not gonna be one of the stupid people who pay $100 for a $60 item cause they think that Ebay automatically means its cheaper...^_^

I read the thread that had the AC delete pulley part #, saw the prices for it too.

But despite all the talk about the heater box, most people say they are harder to find than the AC pulley.
