timing question est connector
I own a 88 trans am 305 TBI and Every so often when i started the car it would run really low on the rpm. so i decide to reset the timing. I read you have to unplug the est wire. so i thought i was doing that but i was unpluging a different wire. Its a single wire right above the heter core mini radiator right on the fire wall passenger side. My question is when i do the timing again, do I unplug that wire as well as the est wire( i just figured out where it is yesterday) or just unplug the est wire.
Let me know all of you f-body experts out there!!
the wire in question was causeing it to be the problem because when i started it up and it ran normal i unplugged it and it went into the wierd running situation
