holley carb needs fixing

I have a Holley 600 cfm vac secondary carb. The vacuum port on the top of the carb is loose. I was thinking of removing it and putting some sleeve glue from loctite on the barrell of it and pressing it back in. Does anyone else have a suggestion for this? Would something work better? Thanks in advance

Vacuum port on top of the carb? I'm looking at my 4160 Holley vacuum-secondary Paperweight, and all I see are teh bowl vent tubes. Most of the tubes are simply pressed in (and may have some sealant). If the tube just slips in and out of its bore, you might try to slightly swage the end of the tube with a tapered punch until it fits a little more tightly, then apply sealant and press it back into place.

Thanks Vader

I was able to fix it pretty easily I used some emery cloth on the end of it o get the grime off of it and used some of that green sleeve glue made by loctite and that did the trick. Thanks for your reply now I got a fuel delivery issue to contend with. Got the motor in the car crank have spark choke is working fine, but no fuel just a few little dribbles coming from the end of the hose well $11.00 dollars at schucks, checkers, craig auto.

Did you guys know if you order from parts america the parts are cheaper than if you went to the store and bought them. I log on order what I want and pick it up the next day, cheaper than they sell it over the counter.
