Your opinions, please.
I just talked to a guy who was sellin some stuff on ebay and he told me about a shortblock he's selling. I was wondering if you guys think it would be a good deal. Here's what it comes with:
- 350 4-bolt, balanced
- TRW Pistons
- Cast steel crank
- No cam, but most everything else
there's nothing about a block to balance so if he told you that i'd stop looking or thinking about anything he has. trw makes heavy pistons, cast cranks are about as common as SBCs are. unless he wants less than 100 dollars for it i wouldn't consider it

i didn't mean the block itself was balanced....i just typed it "stupidly" (if that's even a word). what i MEANT to say was that it's assembled and balanced...like crank and pistons and stuff.

for about a 100 dollars more you can get a low milage vortec 350 from a yard. Id rather do that then get someone elses rebuilt stock short block.
