rubber fuel cell

Does anyone know of a rubber fuel cell that fits into the back of an F-body? looking for atleast a 12 gallon tank. Had to remove my stock tank because it had a hole in it.(those things are heavy too)
So I would like to go with an aftermarket fuel cell if I can find one that fits.

I also just had to drop my tank because of a hole. I took it down and thought i could just patch it. But there ended up being rust all the way through the tank in different spots. so i ditched the tank. I went to a junk yard nearby and pulled a tank out of an 87 v6 camaro. the tank was in great shape inside and out. No rust at all. And i got it for 20 bucks. Not a bad deal if you ask me. I got a new fuel pump and its ready to be bolted back up. I cant wait to get this car running. So before you get a tank inside your car think about getting a used tank from a junk yard. there are pleanty of 3rd gen camaros out there. and then you wont have to go throught the trouble of running new fuel lines inside your car. Hope this helped.

I have to run new fuel lines anyway. I would really like to use a rubber fuel cell if possible. Mostly for the weight benefits.

With a tank completely empty it only weighs 15 pounds maybe. Are you building a race car or a street car? 15 pounds cant make that much of a difference on a 3500 plus pound car. And it will save you lots of money.

My "empty" tank was 25 pounds. I weighed it when I took it out.

Sorry I can't help out with a suggestion. I installed a 4 gallon fuel cell in the back. I don't think you're going to find any sort of plastic "direct replacement" tank so anything you decide to use will require fabrication work. There are pictures of my fuel cell on my web site.

What kind of "race car"? Drag race doesn't need a 12 gallon tank. Road race maybe.

Thats not fair. My car will be a drag racer, but it will also have to drive to the strip. A distance of almost 100 miles, so I need a big tank. Thanks anyway for your help.
Do you think I could use two 5 gallon tanks together, one on each side of the trunk ?
