question
I was wondering if anyone's else camaro had a rattling noise coming from the front, like in the steering components.
Like i thought it was an idler arm/ball joint, but I heard camaros have a pin you may buy for the brakes that stops a rattle.
I always wondered why it rattled but it would never pull to the right or left in the steering wheel and there was no "loose gaps" when I had it on jacks n moved the tires.
let me know if anyone had this problem n what it ended up being

The "mystery rattle" is usually the brake pads.
See if it stops when you push the brake pedal. If it does, bend the tabs in (down) on the outboard pad with a hammer so that it grips the caliper tightly; and make sure the clip on the inboard pad is holding the pad in tight.

Some of the single piston Delco Morraine brakes also had a spring clip that attached the inner pad more securely to the caliper piston. If these were not installed when the brakes were serviced, you could have rattle as well. Some of the lower-priced replacement pads do not come with these clips. Personally, I prefer the clips over the adhesive compounds that bond the pad to the piston. A few good hard stops, and the pads are hot enough to release the bonding agent.
