where is this leaking from?
k no 3rd gen.. my nova has a nice puddle of oil under it after sitting for about a month its a 350 with a th350.. the oil is dripping off of the passanger side of the bellhousing but it is oil and not tranny fluid... where could it be leaking from? im thinking since its been sitting for so long anything up higher wouldnt make any sense.. so maybe rear main? what are other possiblities?

Most likely the valve cover gaskets..cheap fix. Or the intake gasket..exspesive fix...Probably one of the two. But you say it has sat for a month but leaks from the top..that is weird, or it just took a while to fall to the ground.. It may be the rear main seal, but I doubt it. HTH.
