Layout a 12 second, 350 TPI w/ Turbo 350 trans and 3.42 rear
I am thinking of building a 355 TPI. I want to know what setup of cam, TC, injectors, porting plenum, siamesing, throttle body, AFPR, rockers, headers, exhaust, where to go in N. Ill. for custom chip, etc. I am not too concerned with HP/TQ numbers; just a quick ride that is reasonable on gas (16+ MPG).
I am looking at a 4 bolt 355 with Keith Black pistons (probally flat top), Eagle 6" H-beam rods, and a steel crank. I am trying to stay on a fairly tight budget so I am looking towards the modified vortecs again.
I am going to spohn for all the suspension and chassis parts. The turbo 350 has recently been rebuilt and has a shift kit. I have an open 3.42 10 bolt that will be getting the "Beefing Up." I may consider a 9 bolt if I find one at a good price. But for now, I will work with what I have.
