blown up assembly pics of cylinder heads?
blown up assembly pics of cylinder heads?
hey, i was just wondering if anyone had a website or pic that showed a blown up assembly pic of a small block chevy and/or big block cylinder head with all the parts labeled, showing where they go, etc, i remember seeing a vague version in a next gen or year one catalog, but cant find it anymore.. anyone have a blown up pic or something like that?
sorta looks like that FbodyCD add thing flashing at the top of the page, with all numbered parts in order of how they are assembled.. im young and have little to know experience so that'd help tons.
thanks a lot!

your manual ought to have a pic or diagram. it's pretty simple, the bigger valves go in the bigger holes and smaller in the smaller. springs go on top side of head retainers on top of spring and keepers in the grooves cut in the valves. seals go either on the valve guide or in the groove cut in the valve. if you're assemblying heads trash the o ring seal and use a positive seal.
