Quick!!!!! Multimeter question!
What is the internal resistance (ohms) for a multi meter used for solid state or computer diagnostics?? I can't find it anywhere.

Thats what I was thinking but wasn't sure if it was right or not. I knew it was over Kiloohms but couldn't remember if it was 100M ohms or 10M ohms.
That depends on the meter. Some high-current ohmmeters and older instruments Like Simpson 260s and Tripletts) have only 5K ohms/volt. Most digital meters are at least 10M ohms/volt, with some exceptions in the lower-priced units. For resistance testing of solid state circuitry, you also need to knwo the maximum test current on a resistance scale (in mA).
