Cause when i am driving..shudder shudder...shudder shudder

when i drag, or just try to open up, i usually bring the rpm's up to 3000 and then pop the clutch, the tires(well my pass more than my dirver spins) spin and the car launches about 20 feet then shudders really bad until i get the rpm up to about 3000 then i shift at 3800 and it shudders in second for a little while, and then it is fine and shudders right after shifting into 3rd and then it doesnt bother me in 4th or 5th. i have installed an aftermarket chip, cant remember the brand, and the pamphlet on it is in the camaro and it is colder then all hell out here, so i dont want to get it now, but my exhaust is really ghetto(old cat and a cherry bomb, yes a cherry bomb on a v8 it was bought from a mexican, not to hate or nothing), and i need to do a tune up, just waiting for the next pay check to come in. but what could be the matter?? the trans? the rear end? or something else?

i think one of the causes of the shuddering could be your driveshaft. if it all possible get it up on a lift and take a look at it, maybe you can swap in an aluminum one?
