Start up/Idle problems...

Ok...today trouble has started once again with the TA. I dont know whether its the cold or what. I got in her today, and started the motor. It started, stumbled around for alittle like usual, and stalled. This has become normal since it started getting really cold. I fired it right back up, and I got a SES light. It seemed to be running ok, so I drove it for about an hour to my girlfriends. I shut her down, and let her sit for about 10 minutes, and started her again. This time the SES went away, but there was a ton of surging and wicked idling. I should also mention all of these symptons go away after Im moving. It drives and cruises great. Good power, no suring under acceleration, drives normal. Now...Just a few minutes ago, after the car was completely cold, I started it up again. It started, hunted around for an idle, then settled at around 1000rpm. On a completely cold motor...with 20 degree weather... So now, there is no high idle or warm up idle. I just sits at 1K and is really groggy til the motor warms up alittle. Whats the deal here??? The IAC is fairly new, i replaced it back in august I think. Since then she got a full tune up. Im running 92 octane gas. The code I pulled was a 34....MAF sensor. The MAF was also replaced back in august.

The only thing I can think of is that when it stalled earlier today, maybe the MAF sent a code, and that is screwing with the computer. Sound possible? Tomorrow Im gonna reset the ECM, but does anyone have any other ideas??? Any idea is welcome. This 305 just doesnt want to stay in good shape for me... Sorry for such a long post. Thanks in advance for the help!!

WAG but i'd check the CTS, scan it for codes, trouble shoot the codes instead of replacing parts, recheck the tune up but i doubt it's tune up related.

Ok...I think its alittle better. When I start it up, I get a high idle to warm up the motor again. I still have weird idle problems. But, Ive had these problems for awhile. Soooo...after the 2 feet of snow goes away, and it get alittle warmer, I think Im going to tear the TB apart, clean the IAC real good, and check everything out. I think maybe with my car running pooroff and on it may have gummed up the IAC.
I dont know about the rest of you...but my car isnt going to move for a couple days. Im stranded at my girlfriends house right now. Not much hopeto get out even by tomorrow. Anyway, thanks for the response Ede... Im still not sure how to test the CTS and all, but Im sure there are instructions somewhere around here.
