Umm whenver your tires squeek it is a loss of traction.. Get some stickier tires

probably becasue your downshifting and the car is moving too fast for the gear your downshifting into so for a brief second the tires lock up when you shift down a gear..

OUCH
Don't do that. You need to match the revs on the lower gear before you put it in gear. Your taking the car runnning at 2,000 rpm's and jamming it up to 3200. Now your rear try's to catch up and can't so it squels the tires. This is not good for it. Before you downshift it into gear, hit the gas pedal a bit to get the RPM's up higher so it is less of a shock

well sometime you HAVE to beat on her . . .

sorry i had to.

but yeah , be nice, try to match the revs when you downshift, you will also notice that braking is much smother if you match the revs up too, there is alot less body movement when you do.

i never knew, or really thought, that you should rev it up a bit when downshifting.. it makes sense now that i think about it, but it was kinda cool when it happend!
