Has anyone dones this

well im trying to save some cash on my new project, im get a set of used heads off of another engine i have to replace my crapped out ones, and i was wondering would it be better to just have the machine shop do some porting/polishing as well as putting in screw in studs, or shoud i have them just put int eh studs and i do the port and polish

how hard is it to portand polish, its 20 bucks for the port/polish kit and i have the dremel. what do you all think.

It's a good isea to do it yourself. Bad idea to use a Dremel. You'll be old and gray before they're done.

Sears has an electric die grinder for like $20, it will save you days off the job.
