Idle Way too High

I have a 87 305 Z28. i recently replace the IAC cause the idle was too low. Now its up to anywhere from 1400 to 2100 RPM in park. i tried replacing the TPS and it made it even worse. the temp gauge isnt working either. HELP!!!

well my car is carbeurated and my temp gauge is down on the driver side by the exhaust manifold...just a little pin that a wire clips onto..maybe yours just fell off.

and my idle is controlled by a screw on the carb, dunno if its just a screw on a tpi tho..
