Air pump removal

My air pump is going to die, can anyone tell me how I can remove the thing and put a new belt on. What # should I use, thankyou

There's an article on this site on how to reroute your belt in the tech articles section. I went with a longer belt and removed the pump (and rerouted it)

I used a 967K6 belt.

I remember the 967 being a little short for some reason. It worked but was kinda tight. I ended up buying three and seeing which one worked best. I wish I could recall which one I ended up using though. I have the box in the garage still - may have been the 70 or 68..

Thanks for the respose guys, actually I forgot to mention that this is regarding a Trans Am and not a Camaro. I dont know if thats gonna make a difference, but just wanna be sure. Please reply.

same engines in both cars. no difference. the tech article reroute worked fine for me too.
