where is a good place to get a shortblock for under $1000 i found one assemble and balanced at larrysperformance.com, but i heard one bad story about there heads, but i am getting the block

 

if you already have made up your mind where you're getting the short block from why ask? if you've heard bad things about his heads why do you think his blocks are any better. i've heard abd things about all his products and services.

 

i didnt mean it like that, i worded it wrong, i meant i was thinking about getting the block, but i dont know about it now, do you recommend a place

 

jrmotorsports is where i got mine. they have a cheaper budget shortblock for around 1000 i believe. i added some things to mine but basically that is what mine is. dont have it running yet though, i cant find any moneytrees in my yard.
