i heard the vortec heads will not except a cam with over .450 lift. is this true?? i have a lunati cam with .444in-.467ex lift @ valve, i don't want to machine the heads if i can help it. how many mods to the engine and fuel delivery can be made before bumping up fuel pressure? when do i have to screw with the computer system, after what mods? it's an '89 350 4-bolt 350 .40 over with tbi. any help appreciated.
