i was out doing some burn outs with my car today and then i noticed that there was smoke coming out from under the hood then coming through the ac vent in my car what is this please!! help me or my father will 187 me............. it was coming out of a silver thing its highlighted in the pick below [IMG]C:\My Documents\engine 2.bmp[/IMG]

Coming from under it, you mean? Go check for something leaking on that side of the block. Are your oil or coolant low?

If you just use the car for doing burnouts, it shouldn't be much of a loss.

 

it looks like theres a lil bit of water under the thing that was smoking

 

smoke out of the a/c vent, or a fog? water leaking under? any water in pass side floor board? might be a bad heater core - sometimes makes a fog out the vents when goes bad - and heater core located in that area of firewall.

just a guess from an idiot lol

 

if your talking about the silver thing with a metal hose coming out of it that looks like a canister it was probably freon.

 

lol not tryin to scare u or anything but last time i checked there was a huge fine for venting freon to the atmosphere


edit: but just so u know i dont know the details about it i just know that there is a fine and i dont know if its still in effect havent checked for a long time
